Hello, and welcome to the Mother of Gooses blog, where I ramble and chatter, comment and... Write. Today, we are looking at the lyrics to Charles Wesley's hymn, Christ The Lord Is Risen Today. He wrote it in 1739, and it is one of the most common Easter hymns in the world.
