It is about being content with what God has given you, and remembering all of the good things that He has done for us. Lyrics to the hymn, Christ The Lord Is Risen Today

 Hello, and welcome to the Mother of Gooses blog, where I ramble and chatter, comment and... Write. Today, we are looking at the lyrics to Charles Wesley's hymn, Christ The Lord Is Risen Today. He wrote it in 1739, and it is one of the most common Easter hymns in the world.  If you don't know how the tune goes, go to YouTube and look up Kaleb Brasee; he plays it on the piano, and does a very nice job.
