Today, I'm talking about a wonderful channel known as Olive Tree Hymns; they sing a cappella, and it sounds AMAZING. 

Olive Tree Hymns first sent out a video on January 1st. New year, new channel; isn't that cool?🥰 Mother of Gooses joined the thousands of bloggers on January 3rd. Wish I'd joined two days sooner.

Olive Tree Hymns uses words like Tearful, Melodious, or Comforting in the titles of their videos to give you an idea of what the hymn is like; maybe I should try that.

Lyrics to the hymn, This Is My Father's world

Introduction  Hello, and welcome to the Mother of Gooses blog, where I write the lyrics to hymns, and the occasional recipe. Today, the hymn we are looking at is called This Is My Father's World; it was written in 1901 by a Mr. Maltbie Davenport Babcock. It was originally a poem with sixteen verses, but when it was set to music, only three verses were chosen. Today's hymn is one of my new favorites, Sweet Hour Of Prayer. It was written in 1845 by Mr. William W. Walford, and it is one of the best hymns in the world. In fact, every hymn I like is one of the best hymns in the world; funny how that works.
