You've heard me talk about Folksandhymns on the blog, right? Well, the host, Hannah, is releasing her first studio project on Tuesday, July 16th, 2024.

Then this winter, she will release volume 2.

Quote: "A collection of hymns meant for family and personal worship, for partaking with your families in the rich heritage of the hymns of the ages, and meditating on the truths and nature of God.

The selection of hymns is based on AmblesideOnline's 2024-2025 rotation.

Lyrics to the hymn, This Is My Father's world

Introduction  Hello, and welcome to the Mother of Gooses blog, where I write the lyrics to hymns, and the occasional recipe. Today, the hymn we are looking at is called This Is My Father's World; it was written in 1901 by a Mr. Maltbie Davenport Babcock. It was originally a poem with sixteen verses, but when it was set to music, only three verses were chosen. A tree and a bush Someday I might do the whole poem, but today, I'm just going to do the three that I know. Let me know if you want me to do the whole poem.
