Today, we are looking at the hymn by Christian H. Bateman, Come, Christians, Join To Sing.

It was written in 1843, and is now published in 125 hymnals.

Lyrics to the hymn, This Is My Father's world

Introduction  Hello, and welcome to the Mother of Gooses blog, where I write the lyrics to hymns, and the occasional recipe. Today, the hymn we are looking at is called This Is My Father's World; it was written in 1901 by a Mr. Maltbie Davenport Babcock. It was originally a poem with sixteen verses, but when it was set to music, only three verses were chosen. A tree and a bush Someday I might do the whole poem, but today, I'm just going to do the three that I know. Let me know if you want me to do the whole poem.
