Lyrics to the hymn, The Doxology

Mountain, road, and cars

       Introduction

Hello, and welcome to the Mother of Gooses blog, where I write about hymns, instruments, recipes, and animals.

Today, we are looking at the hymn by Thomas Ken in 1674, The Doxology, a.k.a, Praise God From Whom All Blessings Flow.

If you don't know how the tune goes, go look up Folksandhymns or Gabby Barrett; they both do a nice job.

Now, on with the show!

 The Lyrics

Verse 1

Praise God, from Whom all blessings flow;

Praise Him, all creatures here below;

Praise Him above, ye heav'nly hosts;

Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.

Amen.

         Afterwards

It is very, very short; if you are just starting with your career of hymn memorizing, (for lack of better words) start with this one.

I hope that I answered any questions that you might have had; let me know down in the comments what you thought of today's post.

I send out new content every Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, and the occasional Random Chatty Day; go to past posts to read more.

Goodbye, and God bless.
