Introduction Hello, and welcome to the Mother of Gooses blog, where I write about hymns, instruments, recipes, and animals; I hope that I can answer any questions that you might have.  The Subject At Hand Today, we are looking at the lyrics to the hymn, Soldiers Of Christ Arise, by Charles Wesley. He wrote it in 1749, and George J. Elvey composed a tune for it in 1868. It is sung to the tune of Crown Him With Many Crowns; I will leave some links to some singers down below.
